Our range of natural balms are crafted here in New Zealand from the native Kawakawa tree. Its leaves have been used for centuries by Māori for medicinal purposes and are well known for their healing, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties.

Haakaa Balms use Kawakawa combined with a range of essential oils to promote the natural soothing and easing of a range of common ailments with no added nasties, making it the perfect addition to your first aid kit for the whole family. Plus, they can all individually aid the healing of insect bites, rashes, bruises, swelling or inflammation!

Our Kawakawa is harvested respecting Tikanga and Te Ao Māori.

Kawakawa + Arnica | PAIN RELIEF BALM - Lovingly crafted to help relieve headaches or to soothe muscle aches and pains. Also can aid the healing of insect bites, rashes, bruises, swelling and inflammation.

Kawakawa + Eucalyptus | SINUS CALMING BALM - Lovingly crafted to help ease sinuses, coughs, colds and relieve flu symptoms. Also can aid the healing of insect bites, rashes, bruises, swelling and inflammation.

Kawakawa + Lavender | INSECT SOOTHING BALM - Lovingly crafted to help repel insects, and may soothe any painful bites or stings. Also can aid the healing of rashes, bruises, swelling and inflammation.

Directions

To apply, put 1-2 clean fingertips into the container and rotate gently for seconds, then gently massage into your or baby’s skin. Apply frequently as needed.

Storage

Store in a cool area below 25° and out of direct sunlight.

If you have any concerns regarding sensitivity, we recommend doing a small patch test first. For external use only. Do not ingest. Please consult ingredients for allergen risks. Discontinue use if irritation, redness or discomfort occurs.

Kawakawa + Eucalyptus: Kawakawa-infused Olive Oil 71%, New Zealand Beeswax 13%, Essential Oils of Cajeput (3%), Camphor (2%), Peppermint (2%), Thyme (<1%), Eucalyptus (<1%), and Clove (<1%)

Kawakawa + Lavender: Kawakawa-infused Olive Oil 79%, New Zealand Beeswax 13%, Essential Oils of Tea Tree (5%) and Lavender (3%),
